Elite Performance, High-Pressure Execution & Foundations of Discipline

Since 2022, my work has focused on high-level organizational architecture, executive leadership, and strategic consultation. Launching my independent consultancy while anchoring pivotal operations roles allowed me to fuse creative problem-solving with rigorous business systems. Through my strategic work and leadership with institutions like Barrington Stage Company, Jacob’s Pillow, Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, and the Dance Data Project, I have engineered the revitalization of operational workflows, guest services infrastructure, and revenue models. Guided by the belief that bulletproof systems protect vibrant missions, I design data-driven standard operating procedures (SOPs) and accessibility frameworks that leave every organization structurally sound, financially optimized, and deeply resilient.

This era was defined by my tenure in higher education, where I served as an institutional builder, departmental director, and tenured professor. Across premier institutions—including Northern Kentucky University (where I earned tenure), the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM), University of California, Irvine, Colorado Mesa University, and the University of Memphis. I looked beyond traditional administration to architect a sustainable academic infrastructure. I designed forward-thinking curricula, pioneered vital DEI initiatives, and mentored hundreds of emerging artists and leaders. Crucially, this period solidified my executive capabilities: I managed complex departmental operations and spearheaded a $1.5 million capital campaign to design, fund, and equip a state-of-the-art facility. This era proved that creative vision only thrives when backed by rigorous fiscal oversight and strategic project management.

Before pivoting to higher education and institutional strategy, I spent a decade working as a professional performer (AEA) on some of the country’s most celebrated stages. My performance career spanned Broadway national tours, prominent regional theatres, concert dance companies, and major commercial productions. Select highlights include the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, A Chorus Line, West Side Story, Sweet Charity, and Show Boat. This formative decade served as the initial laboratory for my leadership style, instilling the deep resilience, team agility, and high-stakes problem-solving that I now bring to boardrooms and complex organizational operations.
